Getting your Animals to You!

Three to four months after your hunt Glen Dene Hunting and Fishing’s expediting team will have your trophies turned, dried, securely crated, and sent to Geoff Olsen, who handles exporting the goods to you! Our team custom builds your crate to fit each individual’s animals securely and economically. The custom made crates save you in crate size, as well as splitting the skullcaps for shoulder mounts. Moreover, by custom crating we ensure the trophies are well supported and aren’t damaged during transport.

Before we send anything, we confirm both the contents of the crate and the address for shipping with you. Generally, the exported crates are sent to your taxidermist, who likely has a customs broker they work with regularly. We work closely with a few different taxidermist around the US that we recommend if you don’t already use a taxidermist, or simply want one very familiar with New Zealand species, such as tahr.

Some goods, however, like euro mounts, may not require additional taxidermy work and can be sent straight to you. In this case, we can put you in contact with reputable customs brokers at your nearest port of entry.

Through our expediting team Glen Dene Hunting and Fishing works to streamline the process of shipping to you. Our goal is not only take you on a successful hunt with world-class animals, but also to help facilitate other aspects of the trip, travel, and hunting goods. Offering these services is one way we hope to relieve you of stress and worry so you can focus on enjoying the trip and hunt of a lifetime in New Zealand!
