- 1 pair of hunting boots suitable for moderate to steep terrain.
- 3 pairs of padded trekking socks.
- Underwear: 2 pairs of thermal underwear.
- 2 pairs of quick-dry, warm hunting trousers (avoid cotton). Opt for fleece or soft hunting materials.
- 2 quick-dry shirts in camo or dark natural colors (avoid cotton).
- 1 fleece jacket in a dark color or camo (not too bulky).
- 1 water- and windproof hunting jacket (camo or dark color).
- Rainproof jacket and pants.
- 1 pair of high gaiters (optional at Glen Dene but mandatory for wilderness alpine hunts).
- 1 pair of warm gloves.
- 1 warm hat and 1 sun hat.
- Sunglasses.
- Personal toiletries.
- Small daypack (15-30L ideal).

- Headlamp with 2 extra sets of batteries.
